Stephen Moss, President and CEO
Stephen Moss serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer for National Public Media. Moss began his career with McGraw Hill Publications and held positions in advertising sales, including as Vice President at BusinessWeek magazine. He moved to digital media as the CEO of DoubleClick’s joint venture in the Asia Pacific region, where he led the launch of the company’s ad network in six countries. Moss then joined Microsoft’s MSN division as General Manager of the North America Field Sales team, and later held a similar position at Bill Gates’ privately held company, Corbis Corporation.

Donald Ershow, Chief Operating Officer
Donald Ershow serves as Chief Operating Officer of National Public Media. His career began in media planning at Young & Rubicam. He then helped build The Weather Channel, serving in a variety of advertising sales roles, including leading the entire sales effort from 1989 to 1992. Mr. Ershow was SVP of Sales and Marketing for NBC On-site until 1994 and then SVP Sales and Marketing at NewsTalk Television through 1996. He then served as VP of Sales and Eastern Operations at web ad-serving company Focalink Communications before leaving to help launch National Public Broadcasting in 1997.

Blake Truitt, Senior Vice President
Blake Truitt serves as Senior Vice President of National Public Media overseeing NPM’s network radio and digital sales. Prior to the formation of NPM in 2007, he led the NPR sales force through several years of significant growth in sponsorship revenue both on air and online. Prior to joining NPR, Mr. Truitt held advertising sales positions at the ABC-TV affiliate in Washington DC, the Capital Cities/ABC Radio in Atlanta, and at the CBS news radio affiliate WTOP-FM in Washington DC.

Neil Martin, Vice President of Finance
Neil Martin serves as the Controller for National Public Media overseeing the management of financial operations, forecasting and controls. He has continued in this role from his earlier role as Controller of National Public Broadcasting since 1999. Mr. Martin has 20 years of broad accounting and audit experience from his work at Ernst & Young, Time Warner and Universal Music. He earned his CPA in 1990.

Carl Mathis, Vice President
Carl Mathis serves as Vice President of Sales of National Public Media, overseeing the Eastern sales efforts for the spot radio stations, spot television stations, and national efforts for network television properties, including The NewsHour. His career in public media began in 1997 when he joined National Public Broadcasting at its inception. Prior to working in public media, Mr. Mathis had been EVP of television representative Seltel, overseeing operations for 100 stations. His earlier background was in local radio and television sales in Los Angeles and Denver.

Scott Davis, Vice President of Corporate Sponsorship
Scott Davis is the Vice President of Corporate Sponsorship for National Public Media overseeing digital sales as well as the East coast network radio sales team. Mr. Davis came to NPR from member station KWMU in St. Louis in 1998 and helped grow the Midwestern sponsorship business before assuming management roles by opening the Los Angeles office. Prior to his career in public broadcasting, he held sales positions at a variety of commercial radio stations in the Midwest.

Bryan Moffett, Vice President of Digital Strategy and Sponsorship Operations
Bryan Moffett became Vice President of Digital Strategy and Sponsorship Operations at National Public Media in June 2010. He joined NPR in 2005, and helped build the digital sponsorship business by establishing NPR as a leader in online sponsorship innovation. Prior to NPR, Mr. Moffett served as editorial/IT director for the Radio-Television News Directors Association, and before that, as CTO of Franklin Management Company, a solutions provider to the association industry.

David Zellhart, Vice President of Sales
David Zellhart joined National Public Broadcasting in 1999, opening the Los Angeles office. He serves as Regional Director of Sales for National Public Media, leading the Western and Mid-western Sales teams for spot radio, spot television and network television properties. Prior to working in public media, Mr. Zellhart was Senior Account Executive for television representative HRP, overseeing Western region sales for 40 commercial television stations. His earlier background was in local television advertising sales in Los Angeles for CBS television.
