For mobile and tablet users, there’s now one more way to access NPR on the go. This month, Apple released an immersive and interactive News app for iPhone and iPad. Apple News is natively installed on all devices using iOS 9. The app aggregates stories from a variety of news providers, based on individual users’ topic preferences and interests.
As a launching partner, NPR has its own channel within Apple News featuring NPR stories across topics, including news, arts & life, and music. Individual NPR stories are be featured among users’ personalized sampling on the “For You” launch screen, and can also be accessed directly through the NPR channel in the app.
