Landor released its first Global Agile Brand Study and NPR was ranked the 5th most agile company in the United States, beating out mega-giants such as Google, Apple and Microsoft. The study focused on the flexibility of companies in rapidly changing markets and took factors such as adaptability, responsibility, and consumer interaction into account.
NPR was also the highest ranked media organization, followed by the technology news organization, CNET, which placed 10th. The study highlighted NPR for its success across platforms including social media, podcasting, NPR.org and the NPR One app.
